The Ghandi Indian

Kompas Exeter Instagram blog (27 Septembed 2016)

Squeezed in at the busy Clock Tower roundabout, The Ghandi’s modest exterior leaves it in danger of being overlooked by hungry pedestrians. Inside, however, the décor’s sleek and modern. Take a seat on the sofa and order a round of drinks – there’s an extensive selection of wines, beers, spirits and liqueurs – while the waiters prepare a table. Once settled, a platter of poppadums and dips takes the edge off while you decide on a selection of Indian and Bangladeshi classics and chef specials. A handy coloured chilli guide warns how much spice you’re dealing with in each dish – and from the three red ones next to the “naga chilli” chicken, we reckon that’s the one for the daredevils of Exeter! With a whole page of veggie meals, all cooked entirely separate from the meat dishes, there’s no shortage of choice here at the Ghandi. There’s no shortage of food, either. Eyes bigger than bellies? We’re guilty as charged… #Exeter #Indian #IndianFood #IndianRestaurant #Curry #CurryNight #ExeterFood #VisitExeter #IgersExeter #IndianFoodPorn #IndianMeal #IndianCuisine #BangladeshiFood #Kompas #Rice #VeggieCurry #VeggieFood #VegetarianCurry #LambCurry #PilauRice #Balti #VegetableBalti #VegetableCurry #VeggieFoodPorn
