Cask Restaurant and Brewhouse

KOMPAS Lincoln Instagram feed (2 August 2016)

Fancy spending a hazy summer’s evening out in the Cathedral Quarter sipping beer, eating fresh baked pizza and pretending you’re in some Italian market square? Ok, admittedly we’ll need some decent weather for that… but while we’re waiting, no worries: Cask Restaurant and Brewhouse has plenty of funky-looking indoor seating too. This latest edition to Lincoln’s uphill tourist haven opened up in late 2015. Featuring a traditional Italian brick pizza oven and a range of original craft ales, it’s indulgence made simple. From Wine and Dine Wednesdays (two pizzas and a bottle of wine for £20) to their recent “design your own pizza” competition, there’s always something going on in this trendy little corner of the Bailgate – think ‘authentic Italian kitchen meets Berlin hipster hotspot’ and you won’t be far off. Oh, did we mention they make a vegan pizza? Or the fact they do takeaway? Cheap and chilled, this hidden gem brings Mediterranean charm to uphill Lincoln – whatever the weather. #Pizza #Lincoln #Bailgate #LincolnCathedralQuarter #BailgateLincoln #CaskLincoln #ItalianFood #Pizzeria #StonebakedPizza #BrickPizzaOven #CraftAle #ItalianRestaurant #Kompas #HomemadePizza #PizzaDate #Stonebaked #Brewhouse #CaskRestaurant #AlFresco #AlfrescoDining #SummerInLincoln #VisitLincoln #VisitLincolnshire #LincolnCastle #LincolnBailgate
