The Crafty Bottle

KOMPAS Lincoln Instagram feed (21 July 2016)

Sun’s out, BBQ’s out, and the beers are… well. Still on the shelves! If (like us) you thought this heatwave was only here for a few days, you’ve probably not stocked up on your tipple for the weekend. Fear not, though: we’ve sussed out a great spot to pick up some last-minute boozy treats. The Crafty Bottle on Lincoln’s Strait opened in early 2016. Run by local husband-and-wife duo Claire and Karl Brown, the shop’s birth comes just two years after the pair founded The Lincolnshire Brewing Company on Monks Way. So if you fancy ordering a cask of Friendly Rottweiler, Spicy Sausage or Cheeky Imp, hit up their online shop. For extra host points, you could even hire their hand-pull party keg for the weekend! But if you’re simply a beer-lover in want of something quirky or local for your weekend BBQ – or the equipment to brew it yourself – a trip to Crafty Bottle is well worth the uphill struggle. (Don’t worry: it’s near the bottom!) #Lincoln #SteepHill #CraftyBottle #LincolnshireBrewingCompany #LocalBrewery #LocalBeer #LocalAle #RealAle #BeerLovers #BeerPorn #BBQtime #Beer #BeerShop #Beerstagram #BeerStore #BeerCraft #LincolnShopping #LocalProduce #LocalBrand #FriendlyRottweiler #KegHire #PartyKeg #VisitLincoln #SummerInLincoln #Cheers #Kompas
