Mr Simms Olde Sweet Shoppe

KOMPAS Exeter Instagram feed (13 July 2016)

A revolution’s happening. Slowly gathering force since its launch in Staffordshire in 2004, it’s spreading across the UK and beyond, filling everyone it touches with the spirit of… old-fashioned sweets? Yep. Mr Simms is the leader of the revolution. And the aim? To bring retro classics and quirky creations together in a shop that’s full to bursting with all things sugary. Handmade fudge, weird and wonderful pick ‘n’ mix and a colourful selection of American treats are just a few of the gems on offer in this Aladdin’s Cave of sweetshops. Not that diabetics and low-sugar dieters can’t get their sweet fix: Mr Simms’ sugar-free chocolate bars, pick ‘n’ mix and other treats are enough to get anyone flashing those pearly whites, while a whole range of gelatin-free goodies means even veggies get a chance to spread their “cheat day” wings. Mr Simms certainly left us feeling like a kid in a candy shop (and we swear that’s not just the sugar rush talking…). #Kompas #Exeter #MrSimms #Sweetshop #OldFashionedSweets #Candy #CandyShop #VeggieSweets #SugarFreeSweets #SugarFree #MrSimmsOldeSweetShoppe #RetroSweets #VisitDevon #IgersExeter #VegetarianSweets #SugarFreeCandy #VeggieCandy #ExeterLife #ExeterShopping
