Cosy Club Exeter

Kompas Exeter Instagram feed (1 June 2016)

If “Cosy Club” doesn’t sound like the ideal spot to enjoy a chilled evening in Exeter, we’re not sure what does. With 14 restaurants across the UK, this quirky chain is synonymous with homely décor, inventive dining and mouthwatering cocktails. Exeter’s version opened in 2013 – in the former X-Ray department of the RD&E Hospital. Medicine to gastronomy may seem a leap, but from the surgical lighting above the bar to the anatomical charts on the wall, Cosy Club’s given this place a new lease of life while staying true to the building’s roots. Besides, some of these cocktails definitely got us feeling chirpy. From bourbon with chocolate bitters, toasted pecans & maple syrup to the “Cherry Bakewell” (cherry juice, amaretto, rum & caramel syrup) they’re just what the doctor ordered – even if they do leave your wallet feeling a tad unhealthy. Got a prescription for brunch, sandwiches, tapas, burgers, vegan and gluten-free meals or good old sticky toffee pudding? Bring it along to Cosy Club. #CosyClub #CosyClubExeter #Brunch #Cocktails #HiddenExeter #Exeter #KOMPAS #HiddenExeterFood #Foodie #CocktailPorn #IgersExeter #Alcohol #Mixology #Drinks #Treat #Southernhay #SouthWest #Bar #Quirky #InstaCocktail #InstaCocktails #June #Summer #Vegan #Veggie #VeganFood #VeganMenu #GlutenFree #GlutenFreeLiving
