Grand Rocka

Hidden Berlin Facebook & Instagram feeds (6 May 2016)

So, say you’ve got the S-Bahn to Hackescher Markt one balmy night in the hunt for somewhere with that classy “dining out” vibe that won’t break the bank. Our call? Grand Rocka. From the sprawling outdoor terrace to the expansive interior, this American Diner-style joint underneath Hackescher Markt station treads that fine line between being fabulously lively and also chilled enough that you can comfortably chatter with your dining buddies. Plus whether you’re digging pizza, pasta, burgers, steaks or sandwiches, there’s something quirky and mouthwatering on the menu for everyone. We opted for a classic selection of beef, chicken and veggie burgers (€9.50-€11.00) with Rocka’s special sauce, but were intrigued by the pizza with “chicken strips, almond, chilli and raisins” – so if anyone fancies testing that out for us, we’d love to hear what you think! The cocktails are tasty (if not massively strong), the wifi’s free and the vibe’s spot on. What else do you need to kick off a perfect weekend in Berlin?! #GrandRocka #GrandRockaBerlin #HackescherMarkt #Berlin #BerlinMitte #HiddenBerlin #Burger #Veggie #Chips #VeggieBurger #Diner #AmericanDiner #SpecialSauce #Cocktails #Dinner #Evening #SpringInBerlin #Dins #Berlinstagram #DinnerTime #IgersBerlin #Restaurant #EatingOut #EatinginBerlin #Food #FoodPorn #Vegetarian #VeggieFoodPorn
