Vedi’s Indian

Hidden Berlin Instagram feed (8 January 2015)

Gosh, it’s cold this week. And with only so many hearty soups you can whip up to get you through the bitter nights… why not treat yourself to a Vedi’s Indian this weekend? Berlin isn’t famed for its Indian restaurants – but Vedi’s certainly delivers. After you’ve been seated, a friendly waiter sets about bringing you complimentary fizz, plus poppadoms and tasty dips to nibble on. The curries range from €7.50 to €14, including rice and salad. And if the NY resolution was to cut down on meat: no problem! With a range including chickpea, aubergine, spinach and creamy cashew-based dishes, your inner-vegetarian’s bound to be dancing for joy. And for the omnivores, there’s also a vast selection of chicken, lamb, duck or fish-based curries, plus a tandoori grill. For a feast that’ll leave you feeling pampered but surprisingly virtuous (it’s amazing what putting a salad on the table can do) grab at table at Vedi’s. Oh, and to top it off: Happy Hour lasts all day! So those not struggling through Dry January can enjoy €4.90 cocktails at any hour. Sounds like a win to us. #HiddenBerlin #HiddenPlacesBerlin #Vedis #Indian #Curry #IndianFood #IndianRestaurant #ChanaMasala #Chickpeas #Veggie #BerlinVeggieFood #PrenzlauerBerg #SchönhauserAllee #Berlinstagram #IgersBerlin #Rice #Salad #VeggieCurry #Vegetarian #Poppadoms
