Attack of the 50 Foot Socialite

Anyone seen that 1958 film “Attack of the 50 Foot Woman“? Don’t worry: we haven’t either. All you need to know is that a wealthy but troubled heiress meets an alien, becomes a giant and goes on the rampage to punish her cheating husband. Pretty hard-core stuff. But for Hollywood-born Tristan Eaton, the original film poster offered more than a pretentious giggle at 50s cinema advertising: it was the inspiration for a masterpiece. Eaton’s “Attack of the 50 Foot Socialite” is part of Urban Nation’s “One Wall” project. Five times a year, national and international artists are invited to Berlin and tasked with bringing art to diverse neighbourhoods – one wall at a time. In true Berlin style, Eaton’s socialite is vibrant, sassy and just a tad intimidating. You can almost picture her throwing shapes in the city’s hippest clubs – but she’s definitely not someone you’d mess with. Even if she wasn’t five storeys high. #TristanEaton #Mural #OneWall #UrbanNation #StreetArtBerlin #BerlinArt #BerlinStreetArt #Berlinstagram #StreetArt #PrenzlauerBerg #Berlin #HiddenBerlin #UrbanPhotography #UrbanArt
