Sankt Oberholz

Hidden Berlin Instagram feed (15 November 2015)

In Berlin, the line between work and play often gets a bit blurred – which, we suppose, is how places like St Oberholz are born. Is it a study spot, a café or a bar? Well, that depends what time you visit. During daylight hours, the joint’s free Wi-Fi, sprawling tables and numerous plug sockets make it the perfect spot to hole up with your laptop – but with its lookout onto the buzzing Rosenthaler Platz, it’s also a fabulous place to meet friends for coffee and watch the world bustle by. The hum of chatter doesn’t change much between afternoon and evening – and upstairs, late-night studiers can easily carry on working while the party kicks off below. It’s a fairly sophisticated affair, anyway. St Oberholz is where you’ll go to meet people for the first time. When you want to feel like a true part of Berlin’s after-hours buzz – but also hear each other speak. And whether it’s beer or Riesling you’re drinking, we’ll raise a glass to that. #PrenzlauerBerg #Berlin #HiddenBerlin #HiddenPlaces #StudySpot #StOberholz #Cafe #Bar #BerlinCafes #FreeWiFi #StudyingInBerlin #RosenthalerPlatz #CafeBar #BerlinBar #Riesling #GermanWine #Coffee
