Princesshay student discount day

Exeposé Lifestyle online (23 April 2015)

Students hunting down their perfect summer wardrobe next week can claim exclusive offers at Princesshay, as the centre launches its first ever Student Discount Day.

Between 9:30am and 7pm on Thursday 30 April, over 25 of the centre’s popular retailers – including Topshop, Topman, Cath Kidston, Nike Running and River Island – will be offering student discounts of up to 20 per cent.

Alongside clothing and beauty discounts, students can take advantage of dining deals at Nandos, Byron, Coal, Giraffe and Jamie’s Italian. Wagamama team members will be handing out free samples throughout the day, and The Cove will be offering discount manicure and brow treatments in the centre of the mall.

The event comes in the wake of October’s Student Lock In, an annual ‘one night only’ evening of student discounts. With over 5,000 students visiting the centre for last autumn’s Lock In, Superdry store manager Nicola Field described the event as “massively successful.”

“[The Lock In] is a highlight in the student calendar,” said Wayne Pearce, Centre Director at Princesshay.

“We’re excited to launch our new Student Discount Day,” Pearce said. “It’s set to be a fantastic day where our retailers offer an exclusive one day only discount to the students of Exeter.”

To qualify for discounts, students will be asked to provide a valid university or college ID card.
