Police urge witnesses of Streatham Drive arrest to come forward

Students with footage of an arrest made near the University are being asked to come forward and assist police in investigations.

Exeter Police arrested a male at the junction of Streatham Drive and New North Road between 3pm and 3:30pm on Saturday 10 January.

A crowd gathered during the arrest, and police believe some onlookers filmed or took photos of the incident.

Police are now asking anyone with footage or photos to make contact, as this footage may prove useful in an ongoing investigation.

Any students who may be able to assist are requested to call 101 and quote the crime reference number CR/2393/15. An officer will then be in contact.
